How I started
Hi I’m Sonya, Back in 2013 I was asked by a local bride to be to make some props and wedding decorations having the multi love for design I enlisted the help of my talented husband ( Sean ) Thinking outside the box and bouncing ideas off each other Sean would make anything I desired.
Fast forward to 2018 I’m super handy on the tools and eager to give anything a go, To date we have put together an array of hand crafted props also adding lighting, wedding signage, lawn games and most recently wedding furniture to our Wanaka wedding hire.
I love loud music, and I’m a real people person, and I like to please and go out of my way to make your special day a memorable one, In 2015 I started up Wanaka Photo Booth also known as Cheeky Fox Photo Booth I just love it it’s fun and a great product, but what I really get out of it is the joy on peoples faces when they see there images.

All hire items are priced on our website all prices exclude GST
Hire Period – You are responsible for the goods during hire period.
The standard hire period for items is 1-3 days hire period includes ‘from pick up/delivery to collection/return’.
Delivery & Collection – Delivery & collection costs will vary. Picking-up your own items incurs no charge. ( No collecting furniture ) Pick up point is 12 minutes from Wanaka and 25 minutes from Cromwell. Un-arranged collection of hire items due to non return or you being unable to return will result in a travel charge. As of March 30 pick up will be in Hawea Flat.
Delivery to and around Wanaka ranging from $30 plus gst each way
Delivery to Queenstown $99 plus gst each way with a minimum spend of $300
Deposit – We require a $200 deposit on furniture, and 50% deposit on any other items with the final balance being paid in full four weeks before your event. Bookings under $100 require full payment at the time of booking, Payment can be made by bank deposit, Visa, or Cash. Your booking is confirmed when payment is made.
Bond A $200 bond is required for furniture hire, Your deposit becomes the bond.You are responsible for all items while they are in your possession, It is the hirer’s “the person who pays”responsibility to guard against loss or damage until items are collected. Any items left unattended at premises remain your responsibility. If there is damage or loss to hire items the hirer will pay for them to be replaced. All items requiring replacement are invoiced at the cost to be replaced and will also include payment of any postage costs required. Any furniture requiring cleaning will be invoiced in full to you the hirer. If furniture is returned dirty a cleaning fee will apply.
Cancellation Policy – Please advise us of all cancellations as soon as you possibly The following cancellation charges may apply: 40 or more days No charge, any payments will be refunded. 39 days or less No refund will be made.
